Aube AI connects to ecommerce data so it can answer repetitive support questions. These controls explain how we limit, protect, and delete that data.

Encryption by default

Customer conversations and store data are encrypted in transit with TLS and encrypted at rest in managed cloud infrastructure.

Customer verification

Order details are only surfaced after the shopper provides identifying information such as the order email.

Scoped platform permissions

Shopify and WooCommerce permissions are used to power support workflows: products, orders, policies, cancellations, and refund review.

Refund controls

Merchants choose whether refund requests require manual approval or can be auto-approved below a configured threshold.

Data we use

  • Store URL, store name, and merchant contact email.
  • Product catalog, store policies, and knowledge-base entries used to answer customer questions.
  • Order details needed for order-status, cancellation, and refund workflows.
  • Chat messages, ratings, and handoff status shown in the merchant dashboard.

Operational commitments

  • We do not sell merchant or shopper data.
  • Conversation data is retained for 90 days by default.
  • Merchants can request full data deletion at any time.
  • Uninstalling the app stops storefront data collection immediately.
